For more than 100 years, the good spirit of hospitality has been growing and thriving at Gasthof Engel.
Chef Karl-Heinz Lott and his kitchen team prepare Baden dishes with modern accents. High-quality fresh products mainly from the region are the basis of our cuisine. With a lot of love and care, we design our menus according to your wishes.

In our premises you have the opportunity to celebrate parties or hold conferences, so we offer you an ideal setting for weddings, family celebrations or for a meal with business partners.

You will find peace and relaxation in our comfortable and lovingly furnished hotel rooms. All rooms are equipped with shower / bath, toilet, hairdryer, color TV and seating. Our country house suites invite you to a longer stay.
A guest computer and WiFi is available throughout the house. Some of the hotel rooms have a balcony. All of our rooms are non-smoking. The next morning a rich breakfast from the buffet awaits you.
The wine and holiday resort of Nesselried is located in the picturesque foothills zone between the Rhine plain and the Black Forest. Numerous hiking routes and mountain bike routes through the golden vineyards and the foothills of the Black Forest have their origin in Nesselried.

Directions

Arriving by car:
Motorway A5 exit Appenweier / Strasbourg No. 54. Follow the signs to Oberkirch / Freudenstadt on federal road No. 28. Take the Nesselried exit. You can find us in the center of the village.

Arrival by bike:
Baden Wine Cycle Path, Stage 4 Ortenau. Nesselried is right on the wine cycle path.

Arriving by plane:
Frankfurt Airport 1.5 hours by ICE in the direction of Basel. Get off at Offenburg station.
Regional train to Appenweier. In Appenweier take the bus to Nesselried, or call us, we will pick you up there too.
