In addition to the four-star Hotel Calamus in the beautiful city of Kehl on the Rhine, our extensive 46,000 m² hotel grounds include an indoor electric go-kart track, the "Sensapolis Kehl" indoor play & climbing park for children and adults, various event and conference venues with state-of-the-art technology, and three theme restaurants. Our new hotel opened its doors in 2018. Feel right at home! All rooms and suites feature natural materials, top-of-the-range bathrooms, large showers open to the outdoors and free Wi-Fi for you. The beautiful Biergarten invites you to relax with a fresh, fragrant tarte flambée and a small glass of Baden wine. In the Italian restaurant Julia's, with its Mediterranean terrace, you can enjoy pizzas, pastas and salads. At the American sports bar Chattanooga, you'll find great burgers and snacks after your electric go-kart race or climbing and gaming adventure with friends, colleagues or family.

In the heart of Europe, you can reach the famous cathedral of Strasbourg, the capital of Europe, in just 17 minutes. The magnificent vineyards and many winegrowers of Durbach, one of Germany's most beautiful wine regions, are just 25 minutes away. The Europapark in Rust is just 35 minutes away, or the Schwarzwaldhochstraße with its many hikes and romantic excursions just 40 minutes.
