Description

Our house 48 is situated on the quiet outskirts of the village off a main road in the tranquil village of Neuried Ichenheim in Baden. The district of Ichenheim has a bakery which you can easily reach on foot in about 8 minutes. There are also other shops and a pharmacy in the village. Our local gastronomy in the community invites you to savour excellent Baden cuisine. Due to the Alsatian influence, you can experience some culinary delights. The municipality of Neuried offers a variety of leisure activities. Our nature-protected, primeval forest-like Rhine meadows invite you to explore on land and water. Neuried is located in the Ortenau district between Karlsruhe and Freiburg and between the Upper Rhine and the southern Black Forest. Neighbouring Alsace, it is just a stone's throw from Strasbourg, the Hochkönigsburg castle, the medieval town of Ribeauevillé and other excursion destinations. On the German side, it is 50 kilometres to Freiburg im Breisgau, one of the largest wine-growing regions in Baden. Within 30 minutes by car you are in Europe's most beautiful theme park, the EUROPA PARK in Rust. The Black Forest and the Vosges mountains are also ideal for hiking, cycling and motorbike tours.
